Difficulty:             Easy. Flat paved, crushed gravel trail.

Directions:

To Start from the Fraser Field parking lot [Eastern End]; From I-95 take exit 48 to Larrabee Rd. Turn right on Route 25B. Just before you cross the river turn left up an unnamed road. Bear right to the parking lot.

The Westbrook Riverwalk follows the South Bank of the Presumpscot River from the Cumberland Mills Historic District West, to Saccarppa Park & Falls. For more information visit; MAINE TRAIL FINDER .

Starting from the Fraser Field parking lot [Eastern End]; The crushed gravel Westbrook Riverwalk follows the Presumpscot River around Fraser Field bringing you to a paved trail.

Note; Left, East, a paved Spur Trail brings you up to the tennis courts and pool along with another parking lot.

Continue straight, Southwest, traveling underneath a RR bridge. Pass by Cornelia Warren Field before coming to Riverbank Park at 0.4 miles, where the trail briefly utilizes the park road. Playgrounds, picnic tables & Porto-Potty's. Come to Dunn Rd where you'll pick up the narrow paved trail on your right back along the river. Come to a boardwalk (lots of places to eat) and follow out to a promenade after 1 mile. This is where the old Bridge St crossed over the river.

Note; Now a pedestrian bridge crosses the Presumpscot River to another promenade.

Continue out to Bridge St and cross to another boardwalk. Here you have nice views of Saccarppa Falls and the old brick mill buildings across the river. Fish Ladder here as well. Trail ends here at 1.1 miles
