Length:                 Two Mile Creek Greenway; 4.3 miles

Difficulty:             Easy. Flat paved trail with an on-road portion.

Directions:

To start from the Niawanda Park/Two Mile Creek Greenway parking lot (Tonawanda); From I-190 take exit 17 to River Rd and head right. Travel 1.2 miles and turn left just after crossing 2 Mile Creek and where the trail crosses the road.

The Two Mile Creek Greenway follows Two Mile Creek south from the Niagara River off the Erie Canalway Trail; Rochester-Buffalo / Shoreline Trail through Sheridan Park, then west connecting back into the Erie Canalway Trail; Rochester-Buffalo / Shoreline Trail.

Starting from the Nia-Wanda Park parking lot; From the map board a paved trail heads out of the parking lot to a cross-light over Niagara St. You enter Veterans Memorial Park where the trail travels alongside Two Mile Creek. The trail splits (take either path as they remerge) and then crosses Fletcher St at 0.5 miles. I haven't checked out this section. The trail now travels between the creek and 2 Mile Creek Rd passing by the 2 Mile Creek Road parking lot at 0.9 miles. Pass by a second 2 Mile Creek Road parking lot at 1.1 miles before traveling underneath Prison Pkwy. Cross a bridge over Two Mile Creek before coming to E Park Dr at 1.4 miles. Head right on-road (low volume) across I-290 and alongside Sheridan Park Golf Course (sidewalk available). Cross Ensminger Rd at 1.8 miles continuing on-road (narrow sidewalk available) along E Park Dr (residential). Two Mile Creek travels through the golf course. Cross-walk over Sheridan Dr at 2.3 miles where you pick up the paved trail again. Trail continues through Sheridan Park where Two Mile Creek disappears underground. Pass by some sports fields before crossing Riverview Blvd at 2.8 miles. Here the trail travels alongside Woodward Ave. Cross-light over Kenmore Ave where you cross some RR tracks and the trail continues between Sheridan Dr and I-190.  Cross-light over River Rd returns you to the Erie Canalway Trail; Rochester-Buffalo / Shoreline Trail after 4.3 miles.
