Starting from the Maple Ave parking lot; Cross Maple Ave to Mill Pond Park where you'll find the 0 Mile Marker. Markers every 0.1 miles. The Lenape Trail starts out as hard packed dirt and gravel (some roots) as you travel along a causeway between Plainsboro Pond, a part of Cranbury Brook. Cross a bridge off the causeway where you'll find a Porto-potty and some picnic tables. Continue alongside the pond via a narrow, open paved trail. Enter the woods and cross a power line at 1.3 miles. The Fast Line Trolley, which operated between 1902-1937, crossed here where the power line now runs. The trail then ends after 2.1 miles at the George Davidson Rd parking lot.
Plenty of paved paths run through Plainsboro to easily create Loop trails. See Map.
