Length: Pendleton Rail Trail; 3.3 miles
Difficulty: Easy. Flat paved rail trail.
Starting from Lockport Road parking area; From the junction of Routes 31 & 78 in Lockport head west along Route 31 for 3.3 miles. Turn left on Route 270 and take your third left on Lockport Rd. The parking lot will be on your right after less then a mile.

Starting from Lockport Road parking area; The wide open paved trail travels south along a power line.
Note; You can head north along the old rail bed, however, it consists of hard packed dirt, gravel and cinder. You cross Murphy Rd and Hinman Rd before the trail ends at Route 93 after about 1.5 miles.
Note; You can access the Canalway Trail; Rochester-Buffalo by heading east on-road 0.7 miles (wide shoulder) along Lockport Rd, crossing over the canal to the paved Canalway Trail; Rochester-Buffalo where it crosses the road.
Cross Mapleton Rd at 0.9 miles and Feigle Rd at 2miles. Lose the power lines. Cross Campbell Blvd passing by a parking lot at 2.6 miles in Pendleton Center. The trail ends at Meyer Rd after 3.3 miles.
Note; The old rail bed continues south. Future plans call for continuing the trail south.
